As of September 1, 2021, small and medium-sized enterprises can once again apply for budget through the SLIM subsidy scheme to provide training and education to their employees. It will be the last round of applications for the budget in 2021. Through the SLIM scheme, organizations can obtain financing for activities which contribute to the schooling and development of employees. Examples include hiring an external advisor who screens your organization and draws up a future-oriented training and development plan or hiring a career development advisor to provide career and development advice to employees. As of September 1, 2021, application are also possible for the subsidy scheme ‘NL leert door met inzet van scholing’. This subsidy is meant for educators and training institutes, which can use the subsidy to provide free schooling to participants.
